Disclaimer: Off-Campus FWS Jobs

Before we can allow you to see the details of an off-campus Work-Study job, you must read and agree to the following disclaimer:

Off-campus Federal Work-Study (FWS) jobs are available only to those with FWS included in their financial aid award. To determine if you have been awarded FWS, check your financial aid award status on the MyBU Student Portal. Go to the Student Employment website and view the Federal Work-Study Guide for complete instructions. Final approval for any off-campus Work-Study job resides with the Student Employment Office.

Keep in mind that FWS employment is contingent upon a student’s eligibility and acceptance of a FWS award. Certain circumstances may require Boston University Financial Assistance to modify or cancel a student’s Work-Study award, including but not limited to, withdrawal from the University, failure to maintain a satisfactory academic progress, or the addition of financial assistance from other sources. Changes at any time during the academic year or summer program may result in a student’s immediate termination from a Work-Study position.
