To access Boston University’s Student Employment Job Board, staff must first be granted the appropriate HCM security role.

Once access is approved, staff can log in using their BU Kerberos credentials.

 

How Staff Can Access Boston University’s Student Job Board

  1. Determine Need
    Departments should identify who requires access to student employment records and review the security roles they may need by consulting the Student Employment Roles and Resources guide.

  2. Submit Request to DSA
    The department's DSA (Data Security Administrator) must submit the access request.

  3. Provide the Following Information to the DSA:

    • Full Name

    • BU ID (UID)

    • Position Number

    • Required Role

    • Org Unit Number(s) to be accessed

  4. Approval Workflow
    The DSA will route the request for departmental (Level 1/2) approval if needed, followed by final review by the Student Employment Office (SEO).
